Faith and Discipleship

Overview

The Faith & Discipleship Initiative is at the core of COPTrust. We believe that knowing Jesus changes the way we live, it gives us hope, guides our steps, and helps us walk with others in love. Through Bible education, discipleship courses, and faith-based gatherings, we provide spaces where children, youth, and adults deepen their relationship with God, grow in faith, and live out their values in practical ways that uplift families and communities.

Building Strong Communities

What We Offer

  • Bible Education Courses – structured learning that equips participants with knowledge of Scripture and how to apply it in everyday life.
  • Certificate Ceremonies – recognising commitment and completion of Bible study programs.
  • Bible fellowship groups – regular gatherings where people share, learn, and support one another in their faith journey.
  • Seminars – gatherings on topics the community often requests, with teaching, discussion, and connection.
  • Youth Bible Study – creating spaces for young people to ask questions, grow in faith, and take part in service.
  • Women’s and Men’s Fellowship Groups – regular gatherings that provide encouragement, prayer, and shared learning.
  • Mentorship for Youth – through programmes like Boys in the Furnace and Girls @ the Gate, we walk alongside young men and women, helping them grow in faith, confidence, and purpose.

Impact

  • 265 people completed our Bible correspondence courses to date this year.
  • Youth in discipleship groups learned leadership skills and ran a bible study session.
  • Adults in fellowship groups feel more supported and connected.

Why It Matters

Life isn’t easy in many of our communities. Faith helps people face daily struggles with courage and hope. It brings people together to support one another and gives strength to keep going, while also helping them find purpose in everyday life.
