COPT is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) in South Africa, operating as a faith-based charitable trust. We are committed to serving vulnerable and disadvantaged communities through various outreach programmes and projects.

5.1 Payment Methods
We accept donations via Payfast, PayPal, and direct bank transfer (EFT). All online transactions are processed through secure third-party payment providers.

5.2 Non-Refundable
All donations made to COPT are final and non-refundable. By making a donation, you acknowledge and accept that your contribution cannot be returned. In the event of a verifiable processing error or duplicate transaction caused by technical malfunction, please contact us at info@coptrust.org and we will investigate on a case-by-case basis.

5.3 Use of Donations
Donations are used to support COPT’s charitable activities and operational costs. While we endeavour to allocate funds to specific projects where indicated, we reserve the right to redirect donations to areas of greatest need.

5.4 Tax Deductibility
Donations to COPT may qualify as tax-deductible contributions in terms of Section 18A of the South African Income Tax Act. The issuing of Section 18A certificates is handled separately from these Terms and Conditions.

6. Email Communications and Newsletters

By providing your email address through our website, you consent to receive communications from COPT, including newsletters, updates on our projects, and donation appeals. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in each email or by contacting us directly. We will not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes.
