Day Care Extension Classes

Volunteer workers visit the Day care Centre’s on a regular basis. Volunteers prepare lessons that are related to a theme that the day care is following at that time. Volunteers bring along craft related activities to reinforce the concept intended to be taught. Movement and music classes are also used to teach age related concepts.

Baking day is a highlight of the week. Children are exposed to simple baking techniques in a fun and interactive manner.  The children love the lessons and learn to interact confidently with the visiting volunteers. Teachers are left with a lesson plan and plenty of ideas to help with planning further lessons.
